South Korea begins drills
SOUTH Korea has started joint computer-simulated military drills with the US.
President Moon Jae-in insisted yesterday’s exercises, called Ulchi Freedom Guardian, were “defensive”.
He added: “North Korea should not exaggerate our efforts to keep peace.” But the North’s state media called it a “deceptive mask”.
It comes amid reports North Korea had evaded UN sanctions and made £209million in banned exports since February.
