THE rovers clearly won’t be returning to the original Coronation Street set.

The filming lot in Manchester has fallen into ruin since it was abandoned in 2014, when production switched to a state-of-the-art studio at ITV’s new MediaCity site in nearby Salford.

Urban explorer Mark Andrew, 23, took the snap.

He said: “It looked dirty and run down. There are no cobbles and I am not sure what is being done with it.”
