WHAT IS IT? Rhinorrhoea
Rhinorrhoea is where the nasal cavity is filled with mucus fluid – known as a runny nose. It’s a common symptom of allergies or diseases, such as the common cold or hay fever. It can be a side effect of crying and exposure to cold. The word is a combination of the Greek terms “rhino” meaning “of the nose” and “rrhoea” meaning “discharge” or “flow”.
