TROY DEENEY will be auditioning for his team place when he hits the comeback trail tonight.

The Watford skipper is due to start the tie against Bristol City and make his first appearance since May.

He had groin surgery in the summer and is battling with club record signing Andre Gray and £11million new boy Richarlison for the right to spearhead the attack.

Boss Marco Silva said: “I want Troy fit like all the others.

“After that it’s a matter of competition.”
