Bilic is on brink with Carvalho

-

WEST HAM are braced for their club-record bid to land William Carvalho to go right to the wire.

Sporting Lisbon are playing hardball over the Euro 2016 winning midfielder, 25.

The Portuguese side are holding out for as close to Carvalho’s £40million buyout clause as possible.

And boss Slaven Bilic is ready for negotiations to go as far as the last few days of the window.

West Ham striker Diafra Sakho is a transfer target for Bordeaux and Lazio.

The Senegal striker, 27, has appeared in both Premier League games this season, but has fallen down the pecking order behind Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic.

FULHAM are signing Porto’s Rafa Soares to end their long search for a new left-back.

Soares is joining on a season’s loan and fills the void left by Scott Malone’s £3million summer switch to Huddersfield.

Boss Slavisa Jokanovic turned to the Portuguese after being snubbed by Cardiff’s Joe Bennett.
