Tory EU court ‘climb-down’

CROSS-border custody battles could be plunged into chaos if Britain leaves the EU without a Brexit deal, officials warn.

Tug-of-love kids could be left in legal limbo if European and British courts issue rival judgments.

It came with ministers set today to water down demands European judges should have no say over Britain once we leave the EU to avoid such clashes.

Lib Dem leader Sir Vince Cable said: “We welcome this sensible climb-down.”
