SIR Bruce Forsyth’s daughter has waded into a Twitter row with Sky’s Adam Boulton after he criticised the BBC coverage of the showbiz legend’s death.

Debbie Matthews endorsed a string of messages that branded the All Out Politics host “insensitive” and lacking empathy over his comments.

Boulton, 58, had tweeted just hours after Brucie passed away on Friday aged 89 that the death was “inconsequential” and not lead news.

But one angry fan posted: “If your father happened to be Bruce Forsyth would you be tweeting that?

“No. Show some respect to the guy’s family. I guess empathy is a gift.”

Debbie, 62, “liked” the tweet. Other posts accused Boulton of being a “nobody” and said his comment was “misjudged”.

The pundit has since retweeted some of his own criticisms, posting four-letter outbursts directed at him and one message that read: “Who cares what you think anyway?” And TV’s Piers Morgan joined the row, tweeting: “Brucie entertained this country for 70 years. His death is not ‘inconsequential’.” But Boulton retorted: “Over emphasize showbiz and you end up with President Trump.” Debbie also endorsed posts celebrating Sir Bruce’s career.
