Torso found off coast in writer hunt
POLICE searching for missing journalist Kim Wall have found a headless torso, which they said was deliberately mutilated.
It comes after inventor Peter Madsen, 46, claimed she died in an accident on board his submarine and he then buried her at sea.
A cyclist discovered the torso off the coast of Copenhagen, Denmark, on Monday. Officers said divers were searching the area for other body parts.
Jens Moller, spokesman for the city’s police, said: “We’re dealing with a torso where arms, legs and head were cut off deliberately.” DNA results are due today.
Swede Ms Wall, 30, had failed to return after going on a trip on Madsen’s submarine on August 10.
The Danish inventor denies manslaughter.
