Carol airs her trophy
Carol Vorderman has always been a high-flyer... now she has won an award for working with youngsters in the RAF.
Carol, 56, received the Lennox-Boyd Trophy while meeting young air cadets at RAF Syerston, Notts, on Tuesday. The TV star is an honorary group captain and an ambassador of the RAF Air Cadets.
Carol also called for the public to nominate their heroes for the Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards, in partnership with TSB, which she will be hosting on ITV in October. Go to prideofbritain.com.
