Tuck in to a funny Friday
Award-winning comedy Friday Night Dinner will be back for a fifth series on C4 next year, with all the original cast.
Tamsin Greig and Paul Ritter will return as the Goodman parents, while Simon Bird and Tom Rosenthal reprise their roles as long-suffering sons Adam and Jonny. Mark Heap also pops up as Jim. The new run, again written by Robert Popper, sees Mum and Dad get a hot tub – much to their sons’ horror.
Jonny will not stop prank-calling Adam, dad is obsessed with his old ventriloquist dummy and mum organises her own terrible surprise party.
Simon said: “I’m looking forward to six more weeks of eating squirrel, ingesting so much salt that I develop chronically high blood pressure, and humouring an oddball who seems to be pathologically afraid of his own dog.”
