Strictly under-60

The new series of Strictly will not feature any contestants over 60 – for only the second time in the show’s 14 years. The oldest celeb in 2017’s contest is Debbie McGee, 58, left, the widow of magician Paul Daniels. Last year, Lesley Joseph, 70, became the show’s oldest female contestant to date. In 2010 five celebs were 60 or over – including Paul Daniels, who was 72.
