DEMARAI GRAY starred as Foxes ended a run of nine straight home wins for Sheffield United.

Blades welcomed back Ched Evans for his first start but their controversial striker was overshadowed by Gray (above) and two-goal Islam Slimani, lucky to stay on after two ugly challenges.

Gray, subject of a £20million bid from Bournemouth, scored a superb opener after 52 minutes and that opened the floodgates, with Slimani’s double making it 3-0.

Caolan Lavery’s mis-hit cross gave Blades a flicker of hope but striker Ahmed Musa killed them off late on.

Gray, who made 21 sub appearances for Foxes last term, said: “I was happy to get my chance to show the manager what I can do.”
