City’s battlers have title heat
FERNANDINHO insists Manchester City have shown they have a “hot heart” and the spirit of champions.
Pep Guardiola’s men went a goal behind and were down to 10 men in the 1-1 draw with Everton, but the midfielder, 32, said: “Even if we have quality players and a good manager, the main thing is to have a hot heart.
“We were 1-0 down at half time and the only answer we could give was to fight for the result and try to score.
“It was the right spirit to show. If we play like this every game, we stand a chance of the title.”
