Now Neymar is sued by Barca
BARCELONA are planning to take Neymar to court – demanding more than £8million for a breach of contract.
Barca have reacted angrily to losing Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record £199m after he met his own buy-out clause. They are determined to recover some costs and are ready to sue the Brazilian for a payment he received last year after extending his contract until 2021.
Less than 12 months later Neymar quit the Nou Camp and Barca want £7.8m damages plus an additional 10 per cent paid by him or PSG.
