Terriers snap up Sabiri
HUDDERSFIELD have signed forward Abdelhamid Sabiri and are close to landing Switzerland defender Florent Hadergjonaj.
Sabiri, 20, joined from Nuremberg on a three-year deal having scored five goals in nine Bundesliga 2 appearances last term.
Terriers boss David Wagner (above) said: “When I talked to him I was very impressed by how desperate he is to join our club and prove himself at Premier League level.
“He is still learning the game and his space to develop is huge.”
Wagner turned to right-back Hadergjonaj, who also plays in the German second tier with FC Ingolstadt 04, after a £3million move for Barnsley’s Andy Yiadom collapsed.
