PLAYERS TEAM UP TO GROUND THUG

-

JACK CORK was attacked by an invading BLACKBURN fan in the Lancashire derby grudge match at Ewood Park. The BURNLEY midfielder was celebrating his opener in Burnley’s 2-0 win over their bitter local rivals when the thug raced onto the pitch and grabbed him by the throat (left).

But the pitch invader got a shock when players from both teams turned on him and wrestled him to the ground.

Premier League new boys HUDDERSFIELD continued their fine start to the season despite going a goal down at home to League One ROTHERHAM.

Philip Billing equalised with a penalty and Joe Lolley won it 2-1 for the Terriers after Semi Ajayi had given the Millers a first-minute lead.
