Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy started out as downloadable content for last year’s excellent Uncharted 4, but developer Naughty Dog decided to spin it out into a standalone instalment.
And it’s a winner that doesn’t stray from the tried-and-tested formula: exotic locations, gripping set-pieces and a few puzzles, interspersed with lashings of gunplay.
Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, two supporting characters from previous adventures, step up for top billing. While it’s hard to ignore the Nathan Drake-shaped hole in the game, the developing relationship between these two works well.
Visuals and sound on Lost Legacy are just as impressive as any of the previous games.
Even though it isn’t as big as Uncharted 4 (you can beat it in around 10 hours), it’s still just as fun.
