Harman: I hid from Maggie
HARRIET Harman ducked into a room in Parliament so her six-week-old son would not fall under Margaret Thatcher’s gaze.
The ex-Labour Deputy Leader said in the 1980s she spotted the Tory PM in a corridor. Ms Harman, 67, said: “I had this feeling I didn’t want her eyes to fall on my perfect baby, that it would be horrific.”
The MP also told BBC Radio 4 she would have “definitely” beaten Ed Miliband had she stood to lead her party in 2010.
