How dare Sky news man Adam Boulton describe the late great Sir Bruce Forsyth’s death as “inconseque­ntial” (Mirror, Aug 23)?

I had never even heard of him until I read his name and I doubt a lot of others had either.

But I bet that anyone aged from seven to 100 could tell you instantly who Sir Bruce was. P Hill Bolton, Gtr Manchester How ridiculous that Jan Ditheridge, head of the Shropshire Community Trust, turned down £2,500 from a charity event because men dressed up as nurses (Mirror, August 23). This is simply political correctnes­s gone mad.

I think she needs a sense of humour transplant. This will encourage muppets to drink coffee while driving. This is as dangerous as phoning while driving. How did they get planning permission for this?
