BOSS IMPRESSED BY HARRY’S GAME
HARRY MAGUIRE is being tipped as a future England captain by Craig Shakespeare.
Leicester boss Shakespeare feels his club pulled off a coup by signing the defender from Hull in June.
Maguire (above), 24, has already opened his City account with a goal in the 2-0 win over Brighton.
And yesterday the uncapped centre-half was called up by the senior England side.
Shakespeare, who paid £17million for Maguire, said: “We are delighted for him, he can be really pleased with his overall performance since he has been here.
“I don’t see any reason why he can’t be a future captain of England. He has impressed everyone with ability as well as his character since day one.
“He is very level-headed. England has come along quickly, but he will take it in his stride. He is comfortable on the ball and that is important in international football.”
