The President’s travel budget goes sky-high

ONLY the talk is cheap when it comes to Donald Trump as taxpayers in the US are finding out.

The usually secretive Secret Service has gone public expressing its concerns over how much it costs to protect the President and his flunkies.

Trump is already on pace to surpass Obama’s travel budget of eight years in his first 12 months — despite continually criticising his predecessor over his trips while in office.

Already the President has blown $3.6million on jaunts to his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. He says he goes there to work, but the $60,000 bill on golf buggy rental for his protection tells a different story.

Par for the course, Trump will argue.
