FOR CRYING OUT LOUD...I’LL BE BACK SAYS DAN
SKIPPER Danny Batth has vowed to force his way back into Wolves’ starting XI – but says he will be their dressing-room loudmouth whatever.
Batth has been benched by new boss Nuno Espirito Santo for the opening four league games. But he impressed in the midweek Carabao Cup win over Southampton and now faces an anxious wait to find out if he will keep his place against Brentford today.
The defender (above) said: “I’m the loudest in the dressing room. Whoever starts, it’s my job as captain to make sure we’re going in the right direction.
“The manager has come in and made a decision with his starting line-up and it’s up to me to get back in the team and force the issue. I did everything I could on Wednesday night and I’ll continue to support the team.”
