A blunder from Tottenham keeper Pat Jennings gifted the ball to the Hammers’ Keith Robson, who headed home for a 1-0 victory.

Glory was short-lived for the Hammers though – Liverpool went on to win the league that season, with West Ham finishing 18th and Spurs ninth.
