AYEW HAILS HOT TAMMY

- BY HECTOR NUNNS

JORDAN AYEW praised Tammy Abraham for breaking his Premier League duck – and Sam Clucas for a sound debut.

Abraham, on loan from Chelsea, set Swansea on their way to a first league win with the team’s first shot on target of the campaign. And Clucas, a £15million buy from Hull, helped to fill the void left by the departure of Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Ayew (left), who added the second goal, said: “I was very happy to score, but also pleased for Tammy.

“It was important for him to get a goal. It’s not easy for a 19-year-old boy to come to the Premier League and play. He is doing very well.

“Sam Clucas was solid, great and dynamic. We need to find different ways to score now Gylfi has left.”
