Liver disease is the fifth-largest killer in the UK. The British Liver Trust supports patients so they don’t have to face liver disease alone. They campaign to improve awareness so people know of the risks to the liver. They also fund research to find the causes and treatments of liver disease. To help achieve their mission, they work closely with other parties who can help, including hepatologists, patient groups, health care professionals, other voluntary sector organisations and Government departments.
