Kidney gift’s a love match
A YOUNG mum has donated a kidney to her partner after she was found to be the perfect match.
Jack Mason, 27, who has dialysis three times a week, feared he would wait for years for a donor as no relative was suitable.
But against the odds Kerry Collins, 25, was a match. Jack, of Thatcham, Berks, said: “She’s perfect for me. I owe her my life.”
The pair, who have three children, are backing the Mirror campaign for an opt-out system for donors.
