Jason’s Secret should come out
Your article on Sir David Jason was very interesting, with a brief reference to The Top Secret Life of Edgar Briggs (Mirror, August 24). Not many people will remember this series from 1974, but I thought it was his funniest prior to Only Fools and Horses. Sadly, it suffered in the ratings as it was up against The Brothers, the best BBC drama of its time. Edgar Briggs definitely deserves another showing. Stuart Magrath, Wigan
