‘Jan still a goal man’

HOLLAND coach Dick Advocaat has told Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino he has got striker Vincent Janssen all wrong.

The Tottenham striker has been left kicking his heels on the bench by Pochettino, but he can’t stop scoring in training with his national side.

Ahead of Holland’s important World Cup clash with France on Thursday, Janssen has impressed Advocaat – who could play him up front with recalled veteran Robin van Persie.

After watching Janssen recapture his lethal form, Advocaat said: “What that manager in London sees is completely wrong!”
