Ron’s shock £123k payout
RETIRED Ronald Patterson landed a payout of £123,201.
It related to policies linked to two MBNA credit cards, three Barclaycards, one Capital One card and four loans, which dated back to 2002.
The PPI was deemed missold as Ronald thought it was part of the application. And he was also self employed. Ronald, 67, who lives in Duns in the Scottish Borders, aid: “I was completely shocked when I found out I’d been missold PPI.”
He added: “I’m now spending the money on a holiday and I’ll be getting a new car on Monday – something I wouldn’t have been able to do before.”
