Bees’ hornet wipeout risk

ASIAN hornets are set to wipe out vast numbers of honey bees, experts said.

A nest of the invaders, who can kill 50 bees a day, was found in Tetbury, Glos, and officials have urged people to report sightings.

Sussex University’s Prof Dave Goulson said: “It’s going to be disastrous.”
