Mama Mia, Reds snub latest bid
LIVERPOOL have turned down a third Crystal Palace bid, worth £25million, for centre-half Mamadou Sakho and are holding out for £30m.
Palace, who had the French defender for a successful loan spell last season, are ahead of Leicester and West Brom in the race to land the giant stopper.
But Liverpool have not budged in their £30m valuation.
Ex-Palace boss Sam Allardyce thinks the Eagles should pay up in full. “He was fabulous for me,” said Big Sam. “He was outstanding.
“One of the reasons we stayed up last season was Mama’s defensive quality.
“He turned around what was a very leaky defence.”
