LESS than two months after making the toughest decision of his career so far, the call has already been vindicated for Nathaniel Chalobah.

DELE ALLI admits that he has “a lot to improve on” to become the complete player.

The Tottenham and England star (right) was named the second most valuable player on the planet in a recent study. But Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate will not let the hype go to Alli’s head.

Southgate said the midfielder still has work to do and “is an exciting player, but he’s not a proven player – at the moment, he hasn’t won anything”. Alli, 21, said: “There is always room for improvement, even with the best player in the world. “There’s a lot I need to improve on. I feel that I have still got to work hard and make sure that I am the complete player. I don’t feel I am yet.” GARETH BALE will not let an uncertain future at Real Madrid impact on his performances for Wales, says his national boss Chris Coleman. Bale has won three Champions League titles with Real, but has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer. The 28-year-old (left) was whistled by the Bernabeu crowd when substituted in Real’s 2-2 draw with Valencia on Sunday. Wales are facing Austria in a crunch World Cup qualifier on Saturday – but Coleman is confident his main man will be on fine form. He said: “You are like a film star when you play for Real Madrid. “Gareth has matured in handling a lot of things, so this latest episode won’t faze him at all. Nobody should ever doubt what he is capable of.”
