Gran plan for Costa
DIEGO COSTA could have a four-month stint in the Canary Islands in a bid to solve his Chelsea stalemate.
Spanish club Las Palmas, in Gran Canaria, may loan him until Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban is lifted and he can join them in January.
Chelsea are desperate to offload Costa and want to get back £30million on him.
Boss Antonio Conte is lining up a late move for Swansea striker Fernando Llorente for around £15m.
He is also after Everton’s Ross Barkley, but will not meet the Toffees’ £50m valuation. And he wants Danny Drinkwater, but not at Leicester’s £40m price.
