Red Britos: I am sorry
MIGUEL BRITOS has issued a grovelling apology for the horror tackle that earned his fourth red card in 59 games for Watford.
His dreadful challenge on Brighton winger Anthony Knockaert in the 0-0 draw made him the most dismissed player in the Premier League since he arrived at Vicarage Road two years ago.
Britos, 32, said: “I would like to publicly apologise for my red card. It was not my intention to hurt the player and I am glad he was OK.
“I have seen the statistics on my red cards and I’m not happy. It’s not how I want my career talked about.”
