Drones hunt missing Brit

DRONES are helping the hunt for a British man who went missing in the Canary Islands last week.

Volunteers, firefighters and police with dogs on La Palma have so far failed to find Anthony Dalton, 68.

The search is focused on the mountains, gorges and cliffs around Garafia in the north-west of the island.

Mr Dalton, who lived in the village, was last seen nine days ago. Local councillor Carmen Brito said: “The drones’ bird’s-eye view is very useful.”
