Did you enjoy the new Bake Off?

The first episode of the revamped Great British Bake Off on Channel 4, with new hosts Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig, got a mixed response from viewers.

Yes. They got one for the price of two with Sandi. She’s wittier than Mel and Sue put together. BEPPE SAPONE No. I’m sorry but Mary Berry was Bake Off. I tried to like it but I won’t be watching again. SHEILA GRANT Yes. I surprised myself but I really did enjoy it. The new presenters did it justice. I just can’t stand the adverts. DAWN MACRAE No. Noel Fielding reminds me of Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. ZOE No. I know that the UK has great and experienced cooks, but to waste time on such a show is beyond the pale. GEORGE LEVECQUE Yes. I like the new line-up already & I’ve only seen one show.
