Spurs in Hammers and tongs scrap for Gomes

SPURS and West Ham are involved in a deadline day tug of war over Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.

The Hammers want Gomes (left) on loan after becoming frustrated in their pursuit of Sporting Lisbon’s William Carvalho.
