A bum note on karaoke

THERESA May has said she has never tried the Japanese craze of karaoke.

The Prime Minister’s confession during her visit to the nation came after she boasted of loving its culture.

Referring to her reputation for seriousness, she said to journalists: “I’ve got a confession, which may be a shock, but I’m not a great karaoke fan. I’ve never done karaoke, actually.”

Lib Dem MP Tom Brake said: “Once again, tin-eared Theresa May can’t see the writing on the wall.”
