Beijing announced import bans including coal and iron from North Korea last month.
But a No10 source said: “We have to work together in the UN Security Council to perhaps put forward a new resolution. But we could look at, for example, new areas of the economy.”
Mrs May added that Kim poses an “unprecedented threat to international security”. Yesterday the North Korean ambassador was summoned to the Foreign Office for a dressing down over the rocket launch.
