Digital Today, Disc September 11 The star of Jamie Foxx has dimmed somewhat since 2004 when he won the best actor Oscar for playing Ray Charles, and was nominated for best supporting actor opposite Tom Cruise in Collateral.

And after his big-budget thriller White House Down bombed in 2014, the 49-year-old has struggled for starring roles to showcase his talent.

This ho-hum thriller follows him as a Las Vegas corrupt cop who sees his son kidnapped by the mob.

Next year he plays Little John in yet another Robin Hood reboot, which has just had its release date pushed back – not a good sign.
