Jadon turns back on City for Germany
BORUSSIA DORTMUND yesterday won the race to land Manchester City wonderkid contract rebel Jadon Sancho.
Dortmund paid £10million to prise England Under-17 winger Sancho (right) away from stunned City – beating off competition from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Tottenham and Arsenal.
The German club’s sporting director Michael Zorc said: “Jadon is one of the hottest prospects in European football. We’re delighted he wants to and will play for Dortmund.” WATFORD brought in Dutch left-back Marvin Zeegelaar, who joined from Sporting Lisbon for £3million on a four-year contract.
They also took Greece keeper Orestis Karnezis on a season-long long from Udinese.
