Wells: I have knack for a Turf tear-up

- BY DAVID ANDERSON

NAHKI WELLS insists he can succeed in the Premier League with Burnley after completing his £5million switch from Huddersfield.

Bermuda striker Wells (above) has signed a three-year deal at Turf Moor, and said: “I feel I can go on and do great things. I’ve played at every level besides the Premier League.

”I’ve always wanted to play there, now the opportunity is here and I’m very thankful to Burnley for that.” DIAFRA SAKHO was hauled back to West Ham – but only turned up after he had joined his agent at a horse race.

Striker Sakho, 27, (right) flew to Rennes to force a move, but the Irons ordered his return. He stopped off at Chelmsford racecourse as agent Mark McKay watched his horse Siege of Boston win the 3.20pm.
