Villa boss cash fear
ASTON VILLA owner Dr Tony Xia’s finances are under fresh scrutiny after aborting a deal to buy a Hollywood film studio.
Villa’s Chinese chairman pledged in February he was buying Millennium Films in an £80million deal.
But it has emerged his company Recon Wenyuan Cable Co have pulled out.
It has prompted fresh fears over his funds with cut-backs at the Villans this term after blowing £50m on new players last year.
John Terry and others came this summer on Bosmans, loans or low fees but Villa boss Steve Bruce has spent little on transfers.
