AUSTRIA ARNAUT DEAD

- BY JAMES NURSEY

MARKO ARNAUTOVIC has promised Austria will give everything until their fading World Cup bid is dead. The attacking ace (right) became Austria’s most expensive player ever after joining West Ham from Stoke for £24million in July. He has 15 goals in 62 caps, including two in the 2-2 home draw with Wales last October. “We dominated that match and deserved to win,” Arnautovic said. “Now we continue to fight until we can no longer qualify.” Arnautovic’s season got off to a nightmare start as he was red-carded on his second Hammers appearance, to the annoyance of manager Slaven Bilic. But the big striker, fit to face Wales in Cardiff tonight, said: “I do not regret the change, quite the opposite. I’m really looking forward to the task ahead because the team has a lot of potential. “I know how to deal with the pressure. And I have to say the red card was unfortunate.”
