Bank raider’s birthday heist
A TEENAGER staged a bank robbery on his 18th birthday, a court heard.
Muhallab Elhaghany and Darius Wray, then 17, stole £2,290 from NatWest in Netherfield, Notts, after claiming to be armed.
Days later in January, they got £5,758 from RBS at nearby Mapperley Top, Derby crown court heard.
A cashier labelled the teens “small and childlike”.
The pair, of Nottingham, admitted robbery and attempted robbery. Elhaghany got 66 months jail and Wray 54 months.
