Agony of knowing ‘deaths were preventable’
MELISSA McMullan claims the Government has “blood on its hands” over London Bridge.
She says: “All three of the terrorists were known to the police. James’s death — all the deaths — were preventable.”
Seeing ringleader Khuram Shazad Butt, 27, on a documentary with an Islamic State flag in Regent’s Park made her “feel physically sick”.
She adds: “These people were high risk. How did it get to the stage where they carried out these murders? If the Government funded the police better, maybe James would still be here.”
