Kenya’s poll to be re-run
AN election must be held again in Kenya after judges declared it null and void because of “irregularities”.
President Uhuru Kenyatta, 55, said he would stand again against opponent Raila Odinga, 72.
Kenyatta, in a TV address to a stunned nation, called for calm, while Odinga’s supporters paraded in the streets.
Last month’s election sparked protests and violence that killed at least 28 people. Complaints centred over vote tallying.
