SELF HELP foods that can help tame your acid reflux

-

Oatmeal is just about the best breakfast and snack you can have. It is filling and does not cause reflux.

Ginger, in moderation, is one of the best foods for acid reflux. It has been used throughout history as an anti-inflammatory and as a treatment for gastrointestinal conditions.

Fennel is good for acid reflux and could help improve stomach function. It has a unique taste – a mild liquorice flavour. Chicken and turkey are a staple of the reflux diet. They can be boiled, baked, grilled or sautéed and you must remove the skin, which is high in fat.

Vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, green beans and pretty much all of the green and the root vegetables are recommended.
