GARETH GETS ANOTHER DAY

GARETH SOUTHGATE is stepping up his England revolution by keeping the players for an extra day.

Southgate will have a debrief back at the team hotel tomorrow to go over the Slovakia game – a big change from them going straight back to clubs.

England boss Southgate does not need permission from Premier League managers as it falls within the FIFA international window, with qualifiers still being played on Tuesday.

Southgate said: “However long we work together in the week, the exam is the game. What we might pick up from it needs reviewing.”
