MARKO ARNAUTOVIC insists Austria were unlucky to see their World Cup dreams fade and die in Cardiff.

West Ham’s £24million hitman said: “It is hard for us, we deserved more and I think we could have won.

“We were on the front foot and had the chances, but that’s football.

“If you don’t score, you can concede. With luck we could have scored two or three – but it wasn’t like that.

“Second half they pushed us back but didn’t have those chances where you think they could win it easily.

“In our last three games we still try to be professional and win.

“But I know we are not going to go to the World Cup.”
